After dazzling the crowd at the MTV Video Music Awards with his soulful performance of “Fancy,” Drake is set to return to the network. The Young Money entertainer will appear live in-studio on the series premiere of MTV’s new show Kicks
The daily program, which highlights the seven biggest news stories of the day, will kick off on Monday, September 27, at 5 p.m., when Drizzy will hit up Times Square with the cast of The Social Network including Justin Timberlake.
“MTV has played a pivotal part in my career from the beginning and I look forward to being a part of ‘The Seven’ from the start,” Drake said in a statement.
The Canadian rapper is currently in the studio working on the follow-up to Thank Me Later as well as an R&B mixtape It’s Never Enough.
